Privacy notice
Last updated 26 September 2026.
We are the controller of the personal data described here.
What we collect
- Details from your ticket: council, PCN number, vehicle registration and description, date, time and location.
- What you tell us about what happened, your answers to our questions, and your name and company if you give them.
- Your email address, to send your appeal and sign-in links.
- For trade accounts: company details, saved vans and job sites.
- Payment details are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
Ticket photos
When you upload a photo, we send it to our AI provider to read the ticket, then discard it. We don't store photos.
Why we use it
- To provide the service you asked for: reading your ticket, assessing your grounds and writing your appeal (contract).
- To take payment and keep financial records (contract and legal obligation).
- To prevent misuse, such as limiting how often the service can be used (legitimate interests).
We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.
Who processes it for us
- Anthropic, which provides the AI that reads tickets and drafts appeals. Data may be processed in the United States under appropriate safeguards.
- Stripe, for payments.
- Vercel, which hosts the website, and Neon, which hosts our database.
- Resend, which sends our emails.
How long we keep it
We keep your tickets and appeals for two years so you can refer back to them, then delete them. Payment records are kept for six years for tax purposes. You can ask us to delete your data sooner.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, by emailing hello@kerbappeals.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies: one to keep you signed in, and one to let you return to an appeal on the same device. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.
